MOVE INTO FLOw with a
One-on-one
coaching session

You don't have to clean the entire house before you sit down to write.

When you can’t sit down to work, or you sit down to work and find yourself cleaning out your closet instead of writing your manuscript, short story, poem, blog post, newsletter or sales page. Then you clean out the garage. Or try to find the perfect work spot, moving between your desk, the coffee shop, back to your back patio... maybe you should try that new co-working space...  And you finally sit down to work and… you’re blocked.

Writer's block isn’t some mysterious  phenomenon— it’s your nervous system getting overwhelmed.

By your expectations
By the story you’re telling yourself about how much is riding on this work
By resisting taking closer look at your own emotions
By the fear of failing, or letting someone down, or being SEEN

When this happens, your problem-solving and creative skills stall out because your emotional engine is flooded.

This block is trying to tell you something, and deciphering the message starts by identifying the feeling, thought or story underneath it:

- I always mess up
- I’m not a good enough writer
- If I say what I really think, I’ll be judged and rejected
- It’s not safe to put myself out there in public

Find your way out of procrastination and writer's block with a
Move Into Flow session

Embodiment Coaching is a body-focused form a coaching

The goal of a 60-minute Embodiment Coaching Session is to help you identify the story that keeps you stuck, and move you back into a sense of flow where creativity can happen.

We can’t get back into flow by thinking our way through it.

We have to re-focus on the body to calm down the tension — which might present like exhaustion or lethargy, anxiety, numbness, or overwhelm.

Here's how a one-on-one Embodiment Coaching session with me usually goes:

You can bring any one desire, need, problem or issue related to your writing. My clients are experienced writers, beginner writers and those who just have hankering to write as a way of exploring creativity or expressing emotions. Being a coach myself, I also work with a lot of coaches, entrepreneurs and healers who want to write for their business in a way that connects with the hearts and minds of readers.

We use a Move Into Flow session to explore common scenarios like:

- Procrastinating on a piece of writing that's important to you

- Experiencing writer's block

- Having a deep desire to write, but being overwhelmed by all the advice out there - isn't creativity supposed to be experiential and playful?

- Limiting beliefs about your ability to write

- Shame around your creativity or craft

- Fear about sharing your story, your message, and how it will be perceived

- Problems sticking to, or finishing, a writing project

- Finding it hard to carve out time for yourself and your writing

- A desire to feel more ease, calm or joy during the writing process - no, you're not crazy for thinking writing can be fun!

- Uncertainty about whether a new writing direction - or this whole writing thing - even  is for you

- A desire for a deeper, more fulfilling way of expressing yourself on the page - and in life, because your writing life doesn't exist in a vacuum

Embodiment Coaching is a body-focused form a coaching.
During a session:

We'll discuss what you want to achieve and set clear goals for our time together.

Drop into the body, calming the nervous system and drawing our attention within - if you've ever done a guided meditation, you can expect something similar.

You may have your eyes closed for most of the session,
while I guide you in exploring what's going on for you in terms of what it feels like, and where it's located, in the body.

We welcome all feelings, sensations and inner knowings to be present in the body, and tap into your innate body wisdom for direction. (You're always in control of how much you allow, and what feels safe).

You will leave with practical next steps and resources to empower you on your writing journey.

You're ready to get clear on your writing project, and exactly where you want to put your creative focus right now

The power of working with Danielle is in the safety she provides. She knew exactly the right questions to ask, to peel my layers away - and I there were so many that I had a protective shell!

I found the narrative that I was initially afraid to own - even thought that was exactly the story that wanted to come out - and that for me was the catalyst for becoming an empowered woman, coach and leader.

Since working with Danielle, sharing my story and owning its power has been amazing. I feel like she freed me in this process of us working together.

When I first set out sharing more about myself as a coach and person, I went into freeze mode. It’s such a vulnerable feeling, being seen. It kicked up a lot of shame, and fear of rejection. Sometimes it's painful to go back to certain places, so when someone comes along who can take you there safely, that’s so helpful.

The way Danielle helped me find the story of what happened to me, and how that led to my coaching career, is so beautiful - and I love that she helped me convey my humour too.

I really liked Danielle’s process. She helped me identify the most powerful pieces of my story that I hadn’t even thought about. I was able to make the connections to craft a narrative that was true and could connect with my clients. What's more, it's has given me a competitive edge as a coach.

It's a gift to receive such in-depth coaching notes as Danielle's
- and a treat to read!

They are thoughtful and helpful and I am deeply touched she would take the time  to write and create that for me.
